Showing houses and meeting clients has me constantly driving from one appointment to another. An evening in the infrared sauna helps me slow down and sleep better.
We decided on the huum drop for our modern cedar build and it completely steals the show visually. It looks like a sculpture on the wall instead of a clunky metal box. Because the cage holds over 120 pounds of those rounded stones the steam is insane - it just blankets the room in soft heat without cooling down. Takes about an hour to get our 350 cubic foot room up to 195 deg but the wait is totally worth it for the quality of the session.
Incredible heater. The virta combi completely transforms our sauna experience with the humidity control. Heat stays completely steady even when the steamer is running full blast. Looks very premium in our cabin.
we couldn't decide between a traditional steam setup or an infrared unit, so the finnmark fd4 trinity was the perfect compromise. honestly it's the best of both worlds - you get the deep sweat from the IR panels and you can still dump water on the harvia rocks for tha traditional steam. plus the medical grade red light panel is an awesome bonus. the fact that the entire cabin runs on regular 120v wall outlets without hiring an electrician is pretty amazing.
